After a great show to a full house at the Oat Theatre with Wooden Horse, we are back to the kGb schedule. Check us out on June 9th. Looking forward to a fun night!

We are pleased to announce that our CSN and America Tribute Band Wooden Horse has the honor of sharing the cover of the May 2012 Venue magazine with none other than ZZ Top!

Check it out here: http://www.thevenuenewspaper.com/

We were recently interviewed by The Venue magazine for some upcoming publicity on their web site and to specifically promote Eastern CT venues. Please support them and pick up a copy at local clubs.  They are a great local music publication.

Also, we were featured in an article in the Norwich Bulletin. We really appreciate the Bulletin's support of local music and in particular, kGb!

WOW! From living room jams to 19,000 views of this site!

Wow....looking down at the hit counter at the bottom continually amazes me. To think this all started with Sunday afternoon living room jams with our friends and has grown to this is just so cool. (Can you tell I'm feeling good about life today??) Kurt and I are so blessed to have music as a big part of our lives. When we look around us, we see how music has instilled itself in our families and how it has brought us so many close friends who we may have not otherwise ever met.

We see our children now playing guitar and not being afraid to perform and express themselves artistically. For me this is the most gratifying part of this whole experience. At any number of our shows, you can catch Kel or Bianca sitting in on a guest spot. Who knows, maybe someday we'll be joined by DJ Allard, who has become a guitar player and in who's home a lot of this started before he could walk. Gotta love music, gotta love friends.

Wooden Horse and kGb

Hi folks...its been a while since we posted a blog entry. So...time for an update. Kurt and I have been working hard this past six months with our band mates in Wooden Horse. That has resulted in a really exciting concert at the Oat Theatre on May 18th. We played to a full house and got to showcase our vocals in a really nice concert setting. Thank you to all of you who have been supporting us.

Kurt and I are both looking forward to our upcoming kGb schedule and some of the new venues, such as The Acoustic Brew in Voluntown. We will be adding some more of the "things you wouldn't expect in an acoustic show" type songs to the list.

The French Club Chili Cookoff!

30 pots of Chili, a bunch of fun Frenchmen (love my bros) and a bar! What could possibly go wrong??

The cookoff winner claims to have seen a "spirit" in his chili that morning as it was bubbling on the stove. Up from the fumes came a hazy face whispering "Today is YOUR day", "You will be the chili king and the whole world will look on in wonder at your amazing skiil!" "So go forth! Plant your beans in the bellys of all who dare to eat at the alter of the CHILI GODDDDDD!! "...HAHAHAHAHA!!!
